Barry Hansen Chartered Accountants understand the importance of a well formulated brand and a strong employee culture.

The Employee Culture.

Barry Hansen Chartered Accountants (BHCA)  are a well-established accounting practice based in Darwin. The past six years have seen rapid growth for the firm leaving Barry Hansen in search of a strategy to harness that growth and revolutionise the business.

As a professional service the true product of BHCA is it’s internal team. Rigani felt that the most critical factor for the success of this project was in crafting a brand and campaign strategy that not only resonated with BHCA’s target audience, but also its employees.

The Brand.

Rigani begun by conducting a branding workshop with the entire team. The staff were required to work together to better segment their target audience and craft a unique selling position (USP) for the business. They also worked to develop their own internal values, and tactical ways to deliver on this unique employee culture every single day.

Creative Campaign.

Following on from the branding workshop Rigani put together an effective campaign called ‘We’ve got your back’ for the business to help reach their newly identified target market. BHCA employees were once again at the heart of the process and took part in two creative workshops.

‘We’ve got your back’ campaign resonates an emotional connection between the company and its clients. It hit the core essence of the company and suited every aspect of communication. The campaign was launched in May with a TVC, press ads & a brand new website.

The branding and marketing campaign workshops we did with Rigani were a real eye-opener for me and for the team at Barry Hansen Chartered Accountants. Listening to Rigani’s advice, I realised there was a lot we did right as a firm, but there were also areas we could improve on. Rigani helped challenge our way of thinking and allowed us to confront the things we don’t do well – and then worked with us to come up with solutions.

I’ve been involved in similar workshops before and the reason this one worked is because I came away feeling our goals were achievable, and Rigani really listened. They were our words, our ideas, our action plan – guided by Rigani, but not pushed to a pre-determined outcome.

After our workshops I went into a new client meeting with confidence and positivity. I was able to clearly communicate what we could offer to the client and and successfully achieve a commitment from the client before we left the meeting. I might add that in several months down the track we have now formed a very solid relationship with this client.

Rigani’s workshops woke me up and motivated me to want to make a positive difference in both my clients’ and my colleagues’ lives.
